How to use Oracle Calendar: Why the Change from CorporateTime?

New name, same service

The GUCalendar enterprise service has gone through several recent transformations.

Originally, the calendar software was made by a company called Steltor, and their product was called CorporateTime. Steltor was purchased by Oracle in 2003, and the calendar software is now called Oracle Calendar.

CorporateTime software is no longer updated or recommended, it has been replaced by the Oracle Calendar software. We will no longer refer to the calendar as CorporateTime.
