How to use Oracle Calendar: Creating Tasks -- Entering the General Information
- Click on the Create a Task
button, located in the toolbar. |

- This will bring up the New Task window.

- Type a Title for your task.

If your task has to be completed by a certain time, enter the Date and Time that your task is due.
- If you're going to begin your task at a specific time, enter the Enter the Date and Time that you will start.
If your task does not have a specific due (or start) dates, click on the checkmark beside Due (or Start) date (the checkmark, Start date, and Start time will all disappear).

To select the task's priority, click on the down arrow beside Priority. This will bring up a menu. Click on the priority level you want.

To select the task's Access level, click on the down arrow beside Access level. This will bring up a menu. click on either Personal, Confidential, Normal, or Public. |

If you have completed a certain percentage of the task, you can note it in the % complete box. (This may be useful if you've given someone, such as your boss, viewing rights to see the details of your tasks.) |

If you've completed your task, you can note it by clicking on the box beside Completion date and entering a date. |

If you want to set reminders or include details (i.e., a short description) for your task, click on the appropriate tab. (See the appropriate instructions for help filling in that tab.) |

If you don't want to do any of these things, click on the OK button at the bottom of the window to create your task. |
