How to use Oracle Calendar: Daily Notes & Day Events -- Entering Details, Importance, & Access Levels

Follow the same procedures to create both daily notes and day events

 
  1. With a New Day Event (or New Daily Note) window open and the general information filled in (see Entering the general information if you need help with this), click on the Details tab.
 

 
  1. To select the event's access level, click on the down arrow beside Access level. This will bring up a menu. Click on either Personal, Confidential, Normal, or Public.
 
  1. Under Description, type a short description of your event.

Note: You can't add attachments.

 
  1. If you want to create a repeating event, or set reminders for your event, see the appropriate instructions for help with that function.)

    If you don't want to do these things, click on the OK button at the bottom of the window to create your event.
