How to use Oracle Calendar: Avoiding Off-line Agenda Pop-ups

  1. Open Oracle Calendar (see Signing in if you need help with this).

  1. Click on No when you are asked if you want an off-line agenda.

  1. Click on Tools; this will bring up a menu.

  1. Click on Options.

  1. This will bring up the Options window.

  1. On the left-hand side, click on the plus sign (+) beside Off-line, then click on Downloads.

  1. Click on Do not download.

  1. Then click on the OK button.

  1. Close Oracle Calendar, then open it again.

  1. This time, when you are asked if you want an off-line agenda, click on the Yes button.

Note: This will create an off-line agenda file, but it will remain "empty." You will not waste time and resources downloading all your calendar information.

You won't be asked about off-line agendas again when you start Oracle Calendar.
