Clearing Cached Web Pages From Your Browser

Each web browser you use keeps a record of all the web pages you've visited. You should regularly clear this list, especially if you've visited web sites you've had to log into or web pages on which you've made secured transactions such as purchases.

Clearing Browser Cache in Internet Explorer

  1. Select Internet Options from the Tools menu.

  1. Click on the General tab in the Internet Options window.

  1. Click on the Clear History button. You'll receive a message asking if you want to delete the history of all your visited web sites.

  2. Click on the Yes button to go ahead with deleting your cached web sites. This may take a few moments.

  1. Click Ok to close the Internet Options window.

 

 

Clearing Browser Cache in Firefox

  1. Select Options from the Tools menu.

  1. Click on the Privacy button at the top of the Options window.

  1. Click on the History tab.
  2. Click on the Clear Browsing History Now button.

  1. Click Ok to close the Options window.

 

 

Clearing Browser Cache in Safari

  • Select Clear History from the History menu. The list of web sites you've visited will be deleted automatically.
