  5. Set up HostExplorer 8.0

Which version am I using?

You must uninstall any previous versions of Hummingbird HostExplorer before using HostExplorer 8.0.

It is very important to know which version of Hummingbird HostExplorer you are currently using before you install HostExplorer 8.0. There are different methods of uninstalling version 7.0 and version 7.1. Please follow the steps below to determine which version you are using.

After you determine which version of HostExplorer you are using, please click the appropriate link below

I am using HostExplorer 7.0.

I am using HostExplorer 7.1.

How to tell which version of HostExplorer you are using

Before you begin, close any documents and exit any programs that are open on your computer.

  1. Click the Start button. (This will bring up a menu.) Click Programs. (This will bring up another menu.) Click Hummingbird Connectivity.
Click Start, then Programs, the Hummingbird Connectivity
  1. The version number of your Hummingbird HostExplorer should appear next to the name of the program group.
