Web Delivered HostExplorer

If you only use mainframe applications such as SIS+, Genesys, or TMS, you may prefer to use Web Delivered HostExplorer rather than installing and configuring HostExplorer 8.0.  This is not recommended if you often upload or download files to the mainframe or if you have special configuration settings that you like to use.

It is recommended that you use Microsoft Internet Explorer for Web Delivered HostExplorer.

Web Delivered HostExplorer cannot be installed in Netscape 6.0 and higher. It cannot be installed in any version of Mozilla.  Web Delivered HostExplorer can be installed in Netscape 4.8, but requires extra configuration.
